This 7 track EP ticks all the right rock boxes in terms of quality guitar riffs, catchy rhythms and a strong front man, but because of this it is kind of like dot-to-dot with rock. Although the music is catchy and technically well written, with track 3 ‘I’m Not Me Anymore’ being the best personification of this and therefore the best track, it does get rather repetitive and boring. Not just as a whole EP - each song starts to become repetitive towards the end.

Surprisingly the most enjoyable part of this EP is the herpes related ‘Interlude with David Attenborough' which although sounds strange and grotesque is in fact quite funny and the most original thing on this record.

As a whole the album is good, but it is just that: generic, easy to listen to rock, popular and enjoyable but just not anything particularly spectacular or special.
